Description
Continental Romania, a tyres producer, announced on 18 March 2008 that it is to create another 1,350 new jobs by the end of 2008 at its plants in Timisoara (Timis county, West region), Arad (Arad county, West region) and Carei (Satu Mare county, North -West region). 200 new jobs out of 1,350 will be created in Timisoara. Continental group currently employs 6,150 in Romania. Following this business expansion the total number of employed in Romania will be 7,500 by the end of 2008. Approximately 500 posts will be for engineers (adding up to the 2,300 engineers currently employed).
