Description
IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant, has announced that it is to create approximately 230 new jobs at a new store which is currently being built in Klagenfurt, the capital of the province of Carinthia. A total of € 54 million are planned to be invested in the new site. According to Helen Duphorn, the Chief Executive of IKEA Austria, the construction period is planned to be terminated by November 2008, when the new store will open its doors. Ms Duphorn expects some 1.5 million buyers per year.
