European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Swedish firm MCC UWE has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs with the development of a new plant in Oława (in the Wałbrzyska Special Economic Zone). The plant will produce heat exchangers for air conditioning systems of lorries. MCC UWE is part of the Canadian Mobile Climate Control company which manufactures cooling, heating and ventilation systems, designed for the motor industry. As of March 2008, there is no information as to when employment at the plant will commence and when the new jobs will be created by.
