The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
MakroCash&Carry, the leading wholesaler, has announced that it is to create 200 new jobs by opening a new outlet on 6 March 2008 in the city of Koszalin. The company has already 27 wholesale outlets around Poland with an aggregate workforce of 7,480 and over 600 outlets in 29 countries around the world. As of March 2008, there is no information on when the employment at the outlet will commence and the new jobs will be created by.
