The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ryanair has announced a £70million expansion of its services in Edinburgh creating 100 jobs. A further 100 jobs are expected to be created in other firms at the airport in ancillary services including catering and baggage handling. The expansion will increase the number of direct routes from 12 to 19. The managing director of Edinburgh Airport, David Johnston commented that the expansion would make Edinburgh more accessible and bring hundreds of thousands of new visitors to the Scottish capital and its surrounding area.
