Description
The mulitnational Johnson & Johnson intends to expand its new site located since 2005 in Courcelles in the South West of Belgium by creating up to 160 new jobs. The site is the European centre for the distribution of medical and diagnostical goods to hospitals. Johnson & Johnson intends to invest millions euros in this site, however, neighbouring residents are concerned about the damage they could suffer because of the dangerousness of some of the goods stocked. Johnson & Johnson will have to obtain an environmental license to be able to stock these goods.
