European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
France-Transfo, the French manufacturer of distribution and power transformers and subsidiary of Schneider Electric since 1994, has decided continue its latest training program in order to provide employment for 360 jobseekers. This programme is supervised by the company and the regional council of Lorraine. Up to 2009 they will train, among others, spot welders and forklift truck operators. These recruitments will last 18 months and will be split into three main waves of 100 hirings: June and December 2008 and June 2009.
