Organon, part of the American pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough, annonced on 13 February 2008 that it is to cut 100 jobs in the Netherlands. Forced dismissals are not excluded. The restructuring will affect only management posts. The restructuring follows the company's takeover by Schering Plough from AkzoNobel in November 2007. As of February 2008, there is no information on when the job losses are to be implemented.
