European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Filati, a textile manufacturer, has announced that it is to create approxiamtely 200 new jobs (up to 400) by enlarging its existing production facility at Zduńska Wola (in the Łódzka Special Economic Zone). This business expansion will involve the opening of a new production line for sportswear and a R&D unit for new textile technologies. As of February 2008, there is no information as to when employment at the site will commence, when the new jobs will be created by and the current number employed at the site.
