Ball Packaging Europe, a beverage can producer, has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs through the development of facilities for the production of aluminium beverage cans in Lublin. Production is expected to start in mid-2009. Ball Packaging Europe has production facilities in Great Britain, Germany, and Austria, among other countries; it employs a total of 2,700 persons. As of February 2008, there is no information as to when employment at the site will commence and when the new jobs will be created by.
According to the information of as per 25 August 2008, the building of the factory will be completed by the end of 2008 and staff will be hired till the end of June 2009.
