European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch sole passenger car producer announced on 17 January 2008 that it is to create 450 new jobs in the coming nine months. The recruitment process will start in January. The company sent more than a thousand letters to former employees who were made redundant due to the restructuring in 2006. Many of the employees hit by the previous restucturing have shown interest to return. The jobs are created to produce the cross country vehicle Outlander.
