Description

Swedwood, a Swedish furniture manufacturer, has announced that it is to create 130 new jobs in 2008 and other 130 jobs by 2012 with the expansion of its Sopron factory (Western Hungar). The company, which is the main supplier of IKEA, is to make a greenfield investment of HUF 7 billion (EUR 27,131,782) at the Sopron site. The new facility is due to start production in September 2008. The reason behind the business expansion is the relocation of manufacturing elements of kitchen furniture to Hungary.
