Description
Accenture, a management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, announced the creation of 500 new jobs. The recruitement process started in September 2007. The new posts are for engenieers. This business expansion stems from the need to strengthen Accenture’s presence in Belgium. The company is facing, however, a shortage of labour force. “It is difficult to find good management and IT counsellors”, said the management. In Belgium compared to India, the number of engineers is very low. This situation forced Accenture to extend its recruitment strategy to the university campus.
Accenture employs more than 170,000 employees in 49 countries all over the world and 1,200 in Belgium.
