Description
According to the source, Socotab Hellas, a company that produces tobacco in Northern Greece (a subsidiary to multinational group Socotab) is going to relocate its production to the neighbouring Republic of Macedonia. The decision of relocation is due to the cuts in financial subsidies in the tobacco sector. The company has at the time approximately 200 employees. The company is planning to dismiss 170 employees, as only the commercial part of operations remains in Greece.
