European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa has announced that it is to cut 300 jobs with the closing of its Łapy sugar refinery (Cukrownia “Łapy”) by Białystok. This decision follows the European Union injunction according to which Poland must reduce its sugar production by 13.5%.
