Description
The old brewery Ceres in Århus will close during 2008 and the production moved to the owner Royal Unibrew's breweries in Odense and Faxe. 130 employes will be made redundant. Royal Unibrew has breweries in the Baltic Countries as well and have 2,700 employees in all. 60 jobs within marketing, sales, export, logistics, administration will still be kept in Århus, but it is the plan of the management to sell the old attractive buildings. The reason for the closure and relocation is rationalisation of beer production.
