European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dedeman, a Romanian firm that distributes and sells construction materials, has announced that it has created 150 new jobs in Dumbrava Rosie with the opening of a new retail outlet. The new site opened on December 14th 2007, and involved an investment of 6.5 million EUR. The firm operates a network of ten outlets in Romania, of which three opened in 2007. The firm estimates that it will achieve a turnover of 160 million EUR in 2007 and 200 million EUR in 2008.
