The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lantmännen Granngården, a retail firm that operates a series of outlets across Sweden, has announced that it is to cut 105 jobs across Sweden. The job losses are part of a cost reduction programme that also includes a series of other measures intended to streamline the firm’s operations. The job reductions are due to be implemented by the end of April 2008. Lantmännen Granngården operates approximately 120 retail outlets in Sweden and employs 1000.
