Description
Armatis, the French telemarketing and call centre group, has announced that is to create 400 new jobs in Nevers-Saint-Éloi with the opening of a new call centre. The site will open in January 2008, and the jobs will be created between January 2008 and January 2011. The new centre will be based at a former site of the multi-national Philips Group, and Armatis will receive a premium of approximately 6,000 EUR from the local authorities for each worker that it recruits in 2008. Armatis is the sixth largest call centre firm in France, and the site at Nevers-Saint-Éloi will be its fifth French call centre. The firm employs 2,500 in total and had a turnover of 55 million EUR in 2007.
