European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Biche de Bere, the French retailer of jewellery and ready-to-wear clothing, has announced that it is to cut 200 jobs across France with effect from 9th November 2007. The firm was placed in liquidation by the Nantes commercial court on 6th November 2007, and will close the twenty retail outlets that it operates across France. The firm had debts of 7 million EUR.
