Description

Pajurio Mediena, a Lithuanian wood processing company that operates in Klaipeda, has announced that it is to dismiss 190 at its Klaipeda site. The firm, which employees 227 at the site, will close its wood processing division at the plant. The dismissals are due to be implemented from 4th November 2007, and the company has stated that the dismissals are due to a shortage of raw materials. The company’s wood processing equipment will also be sold to Russian wood processing companies.
