Atria produces a similar range of products to Sardus, and management at the firm have made the decision that the rationalization of sandwich and salad production in Sweden to an unit in Norrköping would lead to financial savings. The job losses will affect the Sardus units in Norrköping, Halmstad and Stockholm. Sardus currently employs 270 in Sweden. The job losses will be implemented by the end of February 2008.
