Description
Freescale France, a manufacturer of chips for the automotive and telecommunications sectors and a subsidiary of Freescale Semiconductor Inc., has announced that it is to cut 256 jobs during December 2007. The job cuts will affect the firm’s employees in Crolles and Toulouse where 1,800 are currently employed. The Chief Executive Officer of Freescale France has stated that the decision to implement the job cuts is a response to a recent downturn in the firm’s financial results.
