European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The American group Deloitte, one of the biggest firm of auditors increased its 2006-2007 turnover by 15,5%, corresponding to 23.12 billion of dollars. Every year, for a period of five years, Deloitte increased its turnover worldwide and, in order to maintain the growth, will hire 50,000 new workers from all around the world, in the next five coming years. In Belgium, Deloitte announced its intention to recruit in 2008, 600 new collaborators, hence becoming the biggest employer in the sector.
