European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Uiq, a firm that develops software for mobile phones, has announced that it created 190 jobs at its site in Ronneby between February 2007 and September 2007. The job creation followed the firm being acquired by Sony Ericsson from Symbian in February 2007. 340 were employed at the Ronneby site prior to Sony Ericsson’s acquisition of the firm.
