Description

Woodhead Connectivity, a firm that manufactures electrical equipment for industrial machinery controls, is to close its Ebbw Vale site with the loss of 215 jobs. The decision was made by the firm’s parent company, Molex Incorporated, who had announced a ‘rationalisation’ programme in May 2007. The closure of the site is to be implemented by June 2008. Woodhead Connectivity has operated in Ebbw Vale since 1973.
