European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ACE Romania, a manufacturer of electrical components for motor vehicles, is to create 1,100 new jobs across Romania by the end of 2008. 300 of the new jobs will be based in Dej, 100 in Turda, and 300 in Cluj. A new site will also be opened in Jibou at which 400 new jobs will be created. ACE Romania currently employs 3,000 in Romania, and company representatives have estimated that the firm will achieve a turnover of 150 million EUR in 2008. ACE Romania is a part of the ACE Automotive Group.
