Å koda Auto, the Czech car manufacturer, is to create 2,000 new jobs with the expansion of its site in VrchlabÃ. 1,400 are currently employed at the site. The firm have not yet announced when the 2,000 new workers will be employed by, but it is thought that they will be taken on gradually over a period of time. Å koda Auto estimate that the plant at Vrchlabà will produce one million cars a year by 2010. Å koda Auto is a part of the Volkswagen Group.
