Description
Jüllich Glas, a Hungarian flat glass producer, is to create 500 new jobs in Székesfehérvár. The firm's existing site at Székesfehérvár, at which 500 are currently employed, will be expanded in an investment worth 6 billion HUF (23.5 million EUR). A new 50,000 square meter production hall is to be constructed at the Székesfehérvár site. Production at the firm's Oroszlány site will also be transferred to Székesfehérvár. The forms of production that will be transferred include the manufacture of machinery used in glass production and solar cells. As of August 2007, there is no information on when the new site will be constructed and when the jobs will be created. Jüllich Glas operates eleven site across Hungary and its activities include glass retailing, insulated glass production, glass processing, machinery production, and windscreen retailing.
