Description
Eniro, a firm that is engaged in the book publishing sector and that also operates an internet search engine, is to make 118 redundant in the wake of the firm's acquisition of the Danish firm Krak in May 2007. After the takeover, many of the job functions of the two firms were identical, and the job cuts are an attempt to rationalise the combined job functions. The Director of Eniro has stated that the redundancies will affect employees in the separate companies equally. Eniro and Krak employ a total of 680 in Denmark. The job cuts will take affect from September 1st 2007.
