European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Schenker, a multi-national firm that provides integrated logistical services, has announced that it created 148 new jobs in the Czech Republic between July 2006 and July 2007. Schenker engages in courier and other logistical service activities within the Czech Republic. The firm employed 475 in July 2006, and this number had risen to 623 by July 2007. In the same period, the firm reported that its sales revenues increased by one third and reached 1.3 billion CZK.
