European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Samsung Electronics announced in August 2007 the creation of 100 new jobs in Warsaw by establishing a new mobile technologies development centre in the city. As of June 2008, the centre employs 100 engineers and plans to create another 100 new jobs for engineers by the end of the year. Samsung has had research and development operations in Warsaw since 2000.
