European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Posten, the Swedish postal company, has announced that it is to ‘outsource’ 140 finance jobs at its units in Umeå and Solna. The jobs at these sites will be moved to the firm Lindorff, and the job losses will be implemented by November 2007. The job losses are the latest in a series of restructuring plans that Posten has implemented since 2003.
