Description

Toyota, the group that manufactures motor vehicles, is to expand production at its Wałbrzych site and hire 260 new workers. A new production hall is to be built that will produce state-of-the art transmissions and engines, and the production capacity of the plant will rise from 600,000 to 720,000 units per year. The expansion is due to be completed by mid-2009. Toyota currently employs 2,000 at the Wałbrzych site.
