Description
Cinquième Saison, a firm that manufactures salad in tightened sachets, is to open a new plant in Châlons-en-Champagne in the south of Paris and will create 200 new jobs in the process. The announcement was made on 30th July 2007 by Bakkavör, an Icelandic group that is the parent company of Cinquième Saison. Bakkavör attributed the opening of the new site to the strong increase in sales turnover that Cinquième Saison has experienced. The new jobs will be created throughout the year of 2008, and it is likely that the firm will receive public subsidies for the construction of the new site.
