Restructuring events
European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Astra Vagoane Arad, manufacturer of train carriages, member of the group International Railway Systems, announced the intention to build a new factory in Arad, with a total investment of EUR 80 million.
In early 2010 the group is planning to double the production as a result of an increasing demand of carriages on the international market. In this context, the head of the company announced the intention to create 400 new jobs in Arad by the end of 2007.
