Description
AVL List, a company specialised in the development and manufacture of automobile engines and engine and vehicle testing, plans to further expand its business activities by enlarging the factory at its headquarters in Graz. According to Helmut List, the enterprise’s CEO, the firm wants to continue its current investment policy, amounting to 90 million Euro, in particular in the firm’s R&D branches. The current business expansion programme has increased the workforce at the headquarters in Graz from 1,450 to 1,550 employees during 2005-6 and is aimed to further create some additional 150 jobs in 2007.
