Description
MTU Aero Engines, the German producer of aviation engines, plans to open a factory in Rzeszów and to relocate some of its production activity now pursued in Germany to this new facility. As of 2009, the Rzeszów factory will employ 100 persons, and employment is expected to grow to 400 by 2012. MTU Aero Engines has an aggregate workforce of 7,100 persons; while its core activities comprise production and maintenance of aviation engines, it also produces gas turbines.
