European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The 16th hypermarket Selgros Cash & Carry in Romania, result of an investment of EUR 16 million, was opened in Galati (South-East Region). This new location generated 350 new jobs.
Executive Director of Selgros Romania stated that the company invested until now in Romania EUR 250 million. In 2006, the turnover of Selgros Romania was of EUR 600 million and the number of employees 5,300.
