European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In May 2007 new production facility of the Swedish company Beckers opened in Tarnów (in the Krakowska Special Economic Area). The plant, which will eventually have a workforce of 150, produces liquid paints for the steel processing and machine building industries. Beckers is Europe’s largest producer of paints for steel and aluminium sheets used in the production of roofing materials and construction panels.
