Garlands Call Centres, a call centre firm in Teeside, will create 300 new jobs after securing a major new contract. The firm employs 3,000 people in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Stockton. The majority of the new positions will be administrative roles, based at Stockton's Preston Farm. There will also be a number of customer service, technical and managerial vacancies at the other sites, according to chief executive Chey Garland. Recruitment for the new positions, which are both full and part-time, is already under way.
