European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
AE Group Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the German AE Group, will build a foundry and metal tooling centre in Strzelce Opolskie (in the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone). The 33 million EUR facility will supply the automotive industry, among other customers, and employ at least 250 workers. Construction will commence in late 2007, and production will be launched by the end of 2008. AE Group specialises in pressure casting of aluminium components, and it is a major supplier of the automobile and aviation industries. The company operates plants in Germany, Austria, Poland, and the United States.
