Description
The Stockholm County Council is planning to reduce the number of staff by around 560, as it was announced on 28 March 2007. Information regarding when this plan will come into effect has not been given so far. The reductions are planned in the health care sector and will affect both caretakers and administrative staff. To avoid redundancies, around 600 million SEK have been set aside for measures such as the provision of support to those applying for other jobs and offering old-age pension agreements to employees aged 61 or older.
