Description

A US-based company has announced 180 new jobs for Wexford Town over the next five years. The new jobs have been described as high-level. The expansion is being backed by IDA Ireland. The new jobs are a result of an expansion by Equifax, which already employs 140 people in the town - 95 permanent staff and 45 temporary contract staff. Equifax is a global information technology company which provides consumer and commercial data. The Irish operation, set up in 1994, provides customer support and analysis for a sister company in the UK which is responsible for European business.
