European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Barre Thomas, previously called CF Gummed, a manufacturer of parts and accessories for motor vehicles, announced on 12 March 2007 its plans to cut 309 jobs out of a total of 1,650 in Rennes. The job losses are part of a reorganisation project adopted by the company as a result of a reduction in the volume of orders.
