European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The unit of Quebecor France in Torcy has been declared bankrupt by a court in Paris on 5 March 2007. All 150 employees at the printing site will lose their job before the end of March.
Back on 12 October 2006, Canadian group Quebecor announced its plans to close its printing activity in Hellemmes, in the suburbs of Lille, by June 2007. This will lead to 230 job cuts.
