Description

The belgian press announced in February a new datacenter from the company "Crystal Computing" would be established in Belgium and would create hundreds of jobs.

This week, we learnt that Crystal Computing was in fact a shield company and the investments were actually made by the well-known firm "Google Inc.", willing to remain discreet about the location of its datacenters. After the building of this new center, Google will employ hundreds of people and especially at high qualified level such as managers or informaticians. This new datacenter aims at improving the access of google database for European users.

Crystal Computing, an American firm, collects, manages and relays computer data since 1990. It now intends to establish a new site in Belgium in the region of Hainault in the south west of Belgium. This would create more than 100 jobs in the region and especially skilled employees’ jobs. The firm has already set up its head office in Belgium in the region of Brabant Wallon. Crystal Computing has decided to invest 200 million euros in Belgium in order to break into the European market.
