The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
French firm Vivendi is expected to create up to 500 new jobs with a Cork investment that has been under detailed negotiation with the Industrial Development Agency (IDA) for some time. Vivendi ranks as one of the world's leading media and telecom firms, controlling everything from France's most popular tv stations, to a computer game subsidiary, Universal Music Group (UMG). The Cork investment is expected to revolve around telecom and digital entertainment developments.
