JITONA a.s. originated by the merging of two important Czech furniture makers. The merge has been a formal confirmation of structural and organizational changes carried-out in both companies since 1993 when JITONA a.s. has bought 100 % of shares of Tusculum a.s. As a result, the company has the largest jointly-managed furniture production capacity in the Czech Republic. The company will transfer its production of wood furniture from the Plant RousÃnov to the Plant TÅ™ebÃÄ. The Plant RousÃnov will carry on doing upholstered furniture as well as having now its logistic services. 150 employees will be dismissed.
