Description
The CEO of UPS, the package delivery giant, announced on 20 February 2007 its decision to close its SCS (Supply Chain Solution) activity in Gennevilliers (Hauts de Seine). UPS will try to sell it between March 2007 and March 2008. As a result of this, 356 employees are expected to lose their jobs before the end of March 2008. The activity is not profitable and UPS has decided to focus its activity on express transport. The employees are against this decision and went on strike in February.
